Southwest Airlines is increasing its flights into and out of Orlando.
Four new flights will be added by the Dallas-based carrier this summer.
The airline stated that the decision was made due to the increasing demand for travel in Orlando. Three of the new roots started on July 15,
Albuquerque and Boston, Calif., are the three routes already in operation. El Paso is likely to be the 4th new route. This route will only be available on Saturdays. El Paso will start on September 9th.
Southwest’s expansion into Orlando will likely lead to an expansion at other airports in the summer. Recently, the airline expanded its fleet. Southwest Airlines also plans to expand at Houston’s Hobby Airport.
It will be interesting where else Southwest expands their route network, since Orlando was the theme park capital.
